Community Face Mask Contest

Just like combating climate change, we all have a responsibility to fight the spread of COVID-19. One of the easiest ways to slow the spread is by wearing a face mask.

Wearing a face mask along with following social distancing practices and washing hands are effective tools for us to prevent disease transmission. Learn more about the science at www.coloradomaskproject.com

Submission Steps

1. Post a picture of you wearing your mask on social media. Tag @compostcolorado

2. Follow @compostcolorado

3. Inspire your community by tagging 3 friends in the caption. And use #cocofacemaskcontest

We will be judging your mask on effectiveness and style. A mask should first and foremost cover your mouth and nose with little to no cracks for air to escape. A great mask will do that in style.

We recommend posting two photos. In the first photo you should be looking directly at the camera so we capture the front of the mask. The second photo should be from the side to capture your profile.

Best mask wins $250 and the following 10 runners up will win gift cards from Sexy Pizza, Mutiny Cafe, and other sponsors.

Wearing a mask doesn't need to be a burden - it can be a form of expression!
